  1. When are you going to take the deep dive into the fascinating world of emacs?
There’s a fantastic module that I know you would be totally impressed with. It’s called ‘Org Mode’

Also there are some fantastic Emacs custom variants built for those who are vim users such as myself. The one I use is ‘Doom Emacs’ and is a good introduction to the world of Emacs as most of the packages you’ll need are installed and configured to work right out of the box and has been customized for the vim user.

Once familiar with Doom Emacs you might feel confident to try a vanilla bare bones Emacs install and custom build it to fit your needs.

You can even use a useful tool that lets you have many profiles to you can run as many instances as you want. Great for building, breaking, fixing and learning without ruining your main Emacs install. It’s called ‘Chemacs2’ and you can run Emacs, Doom Emacs, Spacemacs and more.

I’ll say no more and let your curiosity get the better of you, but beware if you dip your toes into this one, you’ll be amazed and in awe at how much you can customize and tweek to tailor to your exact needs for writing and programming and much much more.

Some great future content for your website and podcast should you take the plunge.

    Good Luck. 😉
